About Us

Surabhi Foundation Trust is an NGO established in August 2005, under Trust Act in Bangalore; for Capacity Building among the rural population aiming at Empowering the development of Shelter & Education for Children also Women Empowerment in rural areas; by providing them Educational assistance to bring the children to the mainstream of Education, Self Help Groups & Employment opportunities, Sensitizing Health & Environmental Issues to ensure sustainable living. Surabhi’s Hongirana is a dream project; started in 2009 with an aspiration to provide a Home for opportunity-deprived children. Hongirana caters to the needs of orphans, single-parent families, financially deprived children, street children, rag pickers, children of migrant workers, runaways, children of alcoholic or abusive parents, children of sick & ailing parents, and school dropouts. Hongirana aims at providing food, accommodation, clothing, and education. Due care is taken to impart personality development and social values in them as well. Health and hygiene are ensured by frequent health check-ups under the doctor’s guidance.
